SHARAP

The private medical service (Sharap) available at Hadassah hospitals was founded some fifty years ago. In the beginning it was known as "limited geographic praxis." Over the years it underwent many changes before developing into its present format.

The purpose of the Sharap service is to enable interested patients to personally select the senior physician who will treat them. Medical treatment may be given on an outpatient basis at a clinic, or as part of the patient's hospitalization.

In this way the patient enjoys readily available personal treatment, as well as other related services found at Hadassah, including laboratories, imaging equipment, and operating theaters that are among the most advanced found today.
