Male routine medical exams

The main goal of these exams is to keep you and your body in good health

Routine exams play a vital role in early detection of various diseases and infections, and could help take preventative measures. Beginning treatment in preliminary stages of an early-detected disease can prove crucial towards a full recovery.

All are encouraged to undergo these important routine exams:

Exams include:

  • General medical exam and consultation with a specialized internist
    Comprehensive physical exam, including measuring of blood pressure, height, weight
  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Biochemical tests (Electrolyte – blood & urine tests)
  • C-Reactive Protein (CRP) – for early detection of infection and/or disease
  • Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) – blood test to help early detection of prostate cancer
  • Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) - for early detection of colon cancer
  • Urinalysis – for kidney-related issues (measured by protein and/or blood cells in urine)
  • Kidney function
  • Liver function
  • Chest X-Ray
  • E.K.G (resting)
  • Ergometric stress test
  • Eye exam

At the conclusion of all exams – an internist will consult with you, and will provide you with a comprehensive summary of all the exams.
