The Pediatrics department is a tertiery center for Pediatric medicine: Many children with severe medical conditions come to our specialists for consultation, treatment and hospitalization from other hospitals in Jerusalem, in all of Israel and from different countries as well. In addition to referred patients, we also recieve patients from the ER. We treat a children and adolescents from a wide range of ages, beginning from infancy to 18 years of age.
We cultivate co-operation and teamwork in a pleasant environment, and we do everything in order to get to know the children and give them the most beneficial personalized treatment possible.
The department has 34 beds. We treat a variety of conditions in all fields of Pediatrics (immunology, allergy, endocrinology, genetics, hematology, infections, heart conditions, neurology, nephrology, skin, lungs and many more). The Department serves also as a multidisciplinary center for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pediatric diseases.
