Tearing down such a large building in the middle of a campus, while keeping with the on going work of the hospital, is a very complicated mission. In order to keep the air clean, every step is closely monitored, and the area under work is being watered all the time to prevent dust.
The Sarah Wetsman Davidson new Inpatient Tower will be built instead of the destroyed building. It will be opened in 2012.
