Dr. Batia Avni was born in Tel Aviv in 1971.  

She studied Medicine at the “Sackler Faculty of Medicine” in Te-Aviv University between 1990-1997, specializing in Internal Medicine in Assaf Harofeh Medical Center until June 2002. 

Dr. Avni has been active in teaching from 2001 to 2003 as a tutor of “New York State/American program” students in Sackler School of Medicine Tel-Aviv. She is also involved in research and presented her results in the area of clinical pharmacology research and pulmonology in international and local congresses.  

Dr. Avni has recently joined the Department of Hematology for a sub-specialty in this area.
