Born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1962, married and father of three.

After four  years of military service as an officer, he started his medical studies at the Hadassah Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem, where he earned his M.D. degree. During  his medical studies he also completed a thesis in neurobiology, in the Hebrew University.

Following residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Hadassah Mount Scopus Hebrew University Medical Center, he is now a senior physician and staff member in the reproductive Endocrinology Division of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department.

research 

1990 - Foulkes grant for Medicine students studying for a degree in

biological science

1993 -  Dr.Orna Staner Medical School prize for excellence in M.Sc. thesis.
