1982-1985- Residency in Internal Medicine B, Hadassah University Hospital-Jerusalem

1985-1987- Fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hadassah University Hospital, Jerusalem

1987-1994- Head of the Gastroenterology Clinic, Medical Specialists Center, IDF. Since 1987- Senior physician at the Gastroenterology Services (Ein Karem and Mount Scopus) Hadassah University Hospital, Jerusalem.

1991-          Distinguished Lecturer, Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University, Jerusalem

1997-          Senior Lecturer in Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology

·         Dr Wengrower is in charge of the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy Unit.

·         He was involved in the establishment of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center- Gastro Institute, Hadassah Ein Karem.

Research Interests

·         Development of new endoscopic techniques and treatments (BIB intragsatric balloon for Obesity, Endoscopic surgical treatment of Zenker's Diverticulum, Endoscopic stenting, etc)

·         Endoscopic Treatment of bile duct and pancreatic diseases in newborn, children and adults.

·         Basic and clinical research and treatment on IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Diseases)
