Clinical Senior Lecturer in Ob/Gyn
Born in Meknes, Morocco in 1957, and immigrated to Israel in 1958. Married to Daniela and father of four. Served three and a half years of military service in the Israeli Defense Forces, as a communication officer in a tank battalion, and later as a Major in the Medical Corps (reserves).
Premed and medical studies in the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he had earned his M.D. degree.
Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Hebrew University, Hadassah Ein-Kerem Medical Center.
1998: Fellowship in Urogynecology, Urodynamic Unit, St. George’s Hospital, London, UK. (Professor S. Stanton).
2000-2002: Clinical fellowship in Gynecologic-Oncology at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Gynecologic Oncology, St Louis University, St Louis Mo, USA. (Prof. M. S. Kao)
At present, a senior faculty and staff member with tenure at the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a clinical senior lecturer at the Hebrew university, Hadassah Medical School.

Urogynecology and pelvic floor relaxation
Advanced endoscopic surgery (laparoscopy)
Laser Therapy
Teaching Responsibilities:
Trainer and instructor of residents in the Ob/Gyn program
Teacher at the Hadassah Henrietta Sold Nursing School
Formal lectures in Obstetrics & Gynecology to second year biotechnological students
Research Interests:
Ovulation induction as a possible risk factor for endometrial carcinoma
Continuous oral progestagen for protection against entometrial cancer in tamoxifen treated women with breast cancer
Heparanase expression in normal and malignant human ovarian tissues.
