The Heart Institute provides counseling for patients with cardiac problems and treats patients with all types of heart and vascular diseases. Tests include 24-hour ECG and echocardiography. The department also performs catheterizations, dilatation of coronary arteries and valves, dilatation of peripheral arteries, and electro-physiological tests for arrhythmia, as well as implantation of pacemakers.
