The routine medical evaluation in most

E.N.T and neurological out-patient clinics.

You have to live with it ...

The routine medical evaluation in most E.N.T and neurological out-patient clinics is directed towards checking the possibility that the tinnitus or the vertigo/dizziness is a presenting symptom of identifiable ear pathology or a growth in the central nervous system of the patient (such as: brain cancer, brain tumor or intra-cranial vascular abnormality). For the majority of patients the final diagnosis is: Tinnitus of unknown etiology, and the medical advice is - "You have to live with it". Many physicians tell their patients that based on the medical evaluation there is no specific medical treatment. The same applies for most vertigo/dizziness sufferers.

There are many other important questions. The list here is only a sample of issues that should be discussed with every patient.
