As in previous years, a multi-casualty event drill with students from the Hebrew University – Hadassah School of Medicine took place this morning, July 12th.
The drill began at 10:30 am at the Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem following an "explosion" heard in the upper stands of the stadium.
During the drill approximately 40 wounded, including 20 severly injured- were rushed to Hadassah.
The drill was an exercise a multi-casualty event caused by an explosion in Teddy Stadium, as well as conditions created by crowd pressure on the stadium's gates.
The drill led by Prof. Avi Rivkind, Head of the Department of Surgery and the Trauma Unit with cooperation from the Israel Police, Home Front Command, and Magen David Adom, was the culmination of the 6th year students' trauma studies.
