Actually, Hadassah's advantage is even bigger. 31 Hadassah research projects received an "A". 12 of them won grants.

The 12 basic research projects cover a variety of specific areas in many medical fields such as: Kidney diseases, Asthma, Inflammatory & cancerous processes, Diabetes, Ophthalmologic diseases,  Chronic pain, and others.

It is reassuring to note that most of these research projects were submitted and will be conducted by young physicians/researchers who will be the next generation of leaders at Hadassah hospitals.   Some of these research projects will most probably ripen in the next coming years to medical discoveries and breakthroughs.
